The present invention relates to rock drill bit for rotary crushing machining of rock. The rock drill bit comprises legs (10), each of which carrying a journal (11) provided with bearing surfaces (27, 28, 34) cooperating with bearing races via bearing elements in a rotatable roller provided with inserts or chisels. Each leg is made from a parent material with substantially homogeneous hardness and each leg comprises a leg tail (30) provided to resist entrance of drill cuttings into the bearings. The bearing surfaces (27, 28, 34) have higher wear resistance than said parent material and the leg tail (30) is at least partly of the same material condition as the bearing surfaces. The invention further relates to method of manufacturing a rock drill bit.

La présente invention concerne un fleuret pour rocher destiné à un concasseur giratoire. Le fleuret comprend des pattes (10) dont chacune porte un tourillon (11) ayant des surfaces de support (27, 28, 34) coopérant grâce à des chemins de roulement à billes avec un cylindre rotatif pourvu de burins ou de plaquettes amovibles. Chaque patte est faite en un matériau de départ d'une dureté sensiblement homogène et chaque patte comporte une extrémité (30) prévue pour empêcher des morceaux détachés de roche de pénétrer dans les chemins de roulement. Les surfaces de support (27, 28, 34) ont une résistance à l'usure plus élevée que celle du matériau sous-jacent et les extrémités (30) des pattes sont faites au moins en partie avec le même matériau que les surfaces de support.
