ROCK PHOSPHATE FERTILIZER COMPOSITION ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A fertilizer composition which provides high soil mobility of phosphorus comprising an intimate mixture of 1 to 100 micron size ground rock phosphate and sufficient sulfur of 1 to 5 micron size in a weight ratio of P2 05:S in the range of 1:0.5 to 1:2.0 to convert said rock phosphate to a soluble form of phosphorus when said sulfur is oxidized by soil bacteria to sulfuric acid.
