ABSTRACT A method of rock reinforcement comprising drilling a hole into the rock mass, inserting a length of flexible rope length- wise into the drillhole and injecting a fluent hardenable grouting material into the space between the rope and the drillhole wall. In the preferred method the rope is inserted by attaching one end to a piston element and in injecting the grouting material against the piston element.
