A rocker key with LED window and chromatic cover for actuating electrical mechanisms, including a lower perimeter rim with a rectangular section on an upper and horizontal flat face of which the cover rests. The cover is fitted through pressure on the key in such a way that the key is totally covered thereby and wherein the lower rim of key is uncovered and visible from the outside when the key is elevated according to its normal rocking movement.
