The invention relates to a rocking toy for children, especially in the form of a stylized horse, comprising a one-piece base body made of an elastic plastic material, a simply curved rocking surface which forms the bottom of the rocking toy, and comprising a molded seating area. In one embodiment, the seating area is molded deep enough to produce a backrest area. The rocking toy comprises a horse head and a horse rear part which serve as a support for a child sat in the seat. The base body can be comprised of foamed material, in particular, of foam rubber. The base body has a Shore hardness which is hard enough to permit rocking and yields when a child lies on a lateral surface of the toy. The base body broadens in the cross-section thereof down to the floor in order to provide additional stability. The base body is preferably fabricated from a foamed material block and, in another embodiment, can comprise a fabric cover, i.e. a slipcover.

L'invention concerne un jouet à bascule pour enfants, ayant en particulier la forme d'un cheval stylisé et comportant un corps de base en un morceau en matière plastique élastique, une surface basculante à courbure simple formant la base du jouet et une zone d'assise moulée. Dans un mode de réalisation, la zone d'assise est si profonde qu'elle forme également un dossier.
