- 9 - ABSTRACT Rod-bender plant with a device (21) for setting the size of the rods, which comprises a first bending unit (11) and a second bending unit (11) able to be positioned in relation to each other, a unit (19) to clamp rods being located in an intermediate position, each of the bending units (11) including a substantially, but hot necessarily, horizontal work platform (13), which plant can bend one or more rods at the same time so as to obtain shaped and bent rods for building work, means for the initial positioning of the rods to be bent being included in a position to contact the bending axis (23) of the rod and in cooperation with the work platform (13) of one bending unit (11), the initial positioning means being embodied with a device (21) to set the size of the rod, the device (21) being in a stationary and constant position in relation to the relative bending unit (11).
