A device that assists in cleaning out oil wells where sand/fines are produced with the oil, and preventing the problem of blocked wells. Rods of a well string are provided with coiled rod wrapped around the rods. In a method of operation of the rod, rotation of the rod causes a lifting and fluidizing effect on well fluids and solids, helping to prevent the well from becoming blocked with solids, such as sand.
