ABSTRACT An attachment device which permits ready attachment and removal of a rod weeder to a conventional cultivator. The attachment device includes a bracket which may be attached to the rear surface of a cultivator shank, the bracket including a U-shaped member. The attachment device includes a rod carrier which has a slot adapted to receive a transverse portion of the V-shaped member. A fastener is insertable in the slot to hold the carrier and bracket together when the rod weeder is used with the cultivator.
