A rodent guard is provided for preventing access by rodents to a vehicle which would otherwise occur by the rodents crawling up the wheels into the vehicle. A bottom wall of the guard spans beneath the wheel and is continuous with side walls extending upwardly to a peripheral top edge surrounding an open top end of the guard receiving a lower portion of the wheel therein. The walls are formed of smooth material having a low coefficient of friction so that the rodents are incapable of crawling up the guard onto the wheels. The bottom wall being continuous with the side walls ensures that burrowing rodents cannot penetrate the guard simply by crawling or burrowing beneath the side walls.
