Roll set for handling, particularly screening and spreading, different materials such as wood chips and shavings, said roll set comprising at least two parallel-mounted, rotatable rolls (1), whereby the interroll gaps (2) are adapted to pass the material being handled and at least a number of the rolls are provided with a surface patterning. The invention is implemented by providing at least some of the rolls (1) of the roll set with at least one collar ring (3) made thereto in an annular manner essentially about the entire circumference of the roll, whereby the collar ring has an outer diameter advantageously at least as large as the outer diameter of the other surface patterning made on the roll.

La présente invention concerne un ensemble de rouleaux destiné à mettre en oeuvre, en particulier à répartir et étaler, différents matériaux tels que des particules et copeaux de bois. Ledit ensemble de rouleaux comprend au moins deux rouleaux rotatifs (1) montés en parallèle, les espaces inter-rouleaux (2) convenant au passage du matériau mis en oeuvre et au moins un certain nombre des rouleaux étant doté d'un motif de surface. L'invention est mise en oeuvre en dotant au moins quelques-uns des rouleaux (1) de l'ensemble de rouleaux d'au moins un collier (3) réalisé(s) sur lesdits rouleaux de manière annulaire sur environ toute la circonférence du rouleau. Le collier possède un diamètre extérieur qui présente l'avantage d'être au moins égal au diamètre extérieur de l'autre motif de surface réalisé sur le rouleau.
