Illustrated and described is a roll arrangement with a rotatable roll jacket (1), in particular an elastic roll jacket (1), a rotationally fixed carrier (2) and at least one support arrangement (3) disposed between the roll jacket (1) and the carrier (2), with the support arrangement having a foot (4) associated with the carrier (2) and a sliding shoe (5) supported on the foot (4) and movable radially relative to the roll jacket (1), with the sliding shoe having a support surface (6) associated with the roll jacket (1) which, in operation, always ensures good contact of the support surface of the sliding shoe against the roll jacket to be supported in that the foot (4) is displaceably supported on the carrier (2) and the support arrangement (3) is made of at least two-part design and contains a tilting support (8) which permits tilting of the sliding shoe (5) relative to the carrier (2).
