The material, which comprises 50-85% cotton fibers, 5-25% fiberglass, 5-25% paper filler, 5-25% resin and 0-10% synthetic fibers exhibits improved mark recovery and heat resistance. The roll fill material may further comprise a heat resistant, lubricating additive. A filled calender roll is also provided. 17
