A roll-forming apparatus for forming C-shaped components and Z-shaped components is disclosed. A disclosed roll-forming apparatus includes a plurality of roll-forming stations and a component straightener. The roll-forming stations are adapted to facilitate the formation of at least one of a C-shaped component and a Z-shaped component from a sheet of material. The component straightener is adapted to straighten the C-shaped component and the Z-shaped component. The component straightener includes a frame, a first straightener fixture, a second straightener fixture and an actuator. The first straightener fixture is associated with the frame, has a first forming roll and a second forming roll and is adapted to straighten the C-shaped component. The second straightener fixture is associated with the frame, has a third forming roll and a fourth forming roll and is adapted to straighten the Z-shaped component. The actuator causes the first straightener fixture to be aligned to receive the C-shaped component from the plurality of roll-forming stations when the roll-forming stations are forming the C-shaped component. The actuator causes the second straightener fixture to be aligned to receive the Z-shaped component from the roll-forming stations when the roll-forming stations are forming the Z-shaped component.
