A vehicle seat system is disclosed, comprising a seat structure mounted on two supports. Front and rear connectors are mounted on each support. Front anchors extend across front wells in the vehicle floor. Rear anchors extend across rear wells in the vehicle floor. Front and rear wheels are non-retractably, rotatably mounted upon each support, adjacent the connectors. Upon forward rolling movement of the seat structure, the front wheels each enter a base area of a respective one of the front wells, thereat to permit each of the front connectors to releasably, securingly engage a respective one of the front anchors, and the rear wheels each enter a base area of a respective one of the rear wells, thereat to permit each of the rear connectors to releasably, securingly engage a respective one of the rear anchors, thereby to secure the seat assembly to the vehicle.
