ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The roller comprises an elastic moulding which is com- posed of two cylinder portions and a rigid bushing, the cylinder portions being connected to each other via said bushing. The connection is effected preferably via bridges of the material of the cylinder portions between the cylinder portions formed on casting the moulding, said bridges being uniformly distributed over the periphery of the bushing. Upon pressing the roller onto a shaft deformation of the moulding is limited to the cylinder portion encompassed by the rigid bushing while the cylinder por- tion is not affected by the deformation. The outer cylinder of the roller can thus be finished to an exact size, which is com- pletely maintained by the roller even after mounting on the shaft.
