A roller bearing (2) for underwater applications, in particular for underwater turbines, comprises an outer ring (4) and an inner ring (6) arranged in a bearing housing (8) made from a a stainless material. Several roller bodies (14) held in a cage (12) are arranged between the bearing rings (4, 6) on corresponding roller tracks (10), mad from a corrosion-resistant material. In order to save weight for a roller bearing (2), the diameter (D) of which is, in particular between 0.2 and 10 m, at least one of the bearing rings (4, 6) is designed as bearing ring for a thin ring bearing.

L'invention concerne un palier à roulement (2) pour applications sous-marines, en particulier pour des hydroliennes, ce palier comprenant une bague extérieure (4) et une bague intérieure (6) formées d'un matériau non corrosif, placées dans un logement (8). Entre les bagues de roulement (4, 6), sur les chemins de roulement correspondants (10), se trouvent une pluralité de corps roulants (14) en matériau résistant à la corrosion, retenus dans une cage (12).
