ABSTRACT A roller device for a sliding closure comprising a first member and a second member, each member being adapted for sliding engagement with a channel of a side of a sliding closure, an adjustable spring-biased link providing the sole connection between the first member and the second member to permit restricted relative movement between the first member and the second member, and a recessed roller mounted within the second member for rotation about a fixed axis, the link comprising a threaded bolt and nut with a coiled spring fitted over the shank of the bolt, the head of the bolt extending from the first member and the end of the bolt extending into the second member with the nut being located within the second member so that the spring is under compression between the first member and the second member.
