ROLLER MILL ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A vertical roller mill resting on a mill foundation is disclosed in which a rotatable grinding table having an endless grinding path is driven by a driving mechanism located beneath the grinding table and in which the grinding table rotates on bearing means which are mounted on generally vertical support means, the support means positioned beneath the grinding path of the grinding table to support the grinding table and to transmit grinding pressures and vibrations from the grinding table downward directly to the mill foundation while substantially avoiding transmission of the pressures and the vibrations to said driving mechanism.
