- 9 - TITLE ROLLER RESILIENT BEARING APPLICANT SALVATORE ANTHONY DILORETO INVENTOR Salvatore Anthony DILORETO ABSTRACT A resilient roller bearing wheel or disk is constructed by forming a compound sleeve with an inner annular core and an outer resilient surround. Preferably, they are molded from thermosetting plastic wherein the outer surround is a resilient material, for example, a resilient thermosetting plastic, while the inner annular core can be a resilient thermosetting plastic of less resiliency than that of the surround or, a firm or hard thermoplastic core. In any event, the inner annular core defines a bore sized to accomodate a roller bearing of the prior art together with means for removably securing the roller bearing in the bore whereby, on excessive wearing of the resilient surround, the resilient surround may be removed from the roller bearing and a new one replaced thereon so as to achieve full lifetime use of the more expensive roller bearing.
