ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved roller support for swimming pool covers, of the type having a support tube with cooperating internal and external telescopic tube sections. The cooperating tube sections are provided with axially extending projections which longitudinally slidably mate, in overlapping portions of the tubular sections, with axially extending grooves, the projections and grooves being located on confronting surfaces of the tubular sactions. In this way relative rotative movement of the tubular sections is prevented. This provides an easier to operate and more secure arrangement for the telescopic tube sections than found in conventional roller supports.
