A roller with controllable sag is provided with a revolving hollow roller and a non-rotating crosshead which crosses the hollow roller along its length and on which the hollow roller is supported by a series of support elements actuated by a pressure medium. Separate supply lines (13) lead to the support elements and open out into a connection head (40) at the end (10') of the crosshead, to the connection head (40) are connected the outer connection lines (53). The connection head (40) comprises a double disc rotary slide valve (50) by which the lines (13, 53) can be interrupted and which in the closed state can be separated at a separation surface (47). The individual discs (51, 52) of the double disc rotary slide valve (50) keep both the supply lines (13) and connection lines (53) closed, thus facilitating replacement of the roller as and when required.

Un cylindre à flexion pouvant être contrôlée présente un cylindre creux rotatif et une tête transversale non rotative, traversant le cylindre creux sur sa longueur et contre laquelle le cylindre creux s'appuie par l'intermédiaire d'une série d'éléments d'appui actionnés par un fluide de pression. Des conduites d'alimentation (13) séparées conduisent aux différents éléments d'appui et débouchent dans une tête de raccordement (40) qui est placée à l'extrémité (10') de la tête transversale. Les conduites de raccordement extérieures (53) sont reliées à la tête de raccordement (40), laquelle comprend un tiroir rotatif à double disque (50) qui permet d'interrompre les conduites (13, 53) et qui, en position fermée, peut être séparée au niveau d'une surface de séparation (47). Grâce aux différents disques (51, 52) du tiroir rotatif à double disque (50), les conduites d'alimentation (13) comme les conduites de raccordement (53) demeurent fermées de façon à pouvoir changer facilement les cylindres si nécessaire.
