The invention relates to a rolling machine for compressing and rolling a fibrous mattress (1) into itself. Said machine is of the type comprising two belts, each of which envelops approximately half of the circumference of the forming roll. The rolling machine further comprises a plate (13) to maintain the mattress (1) in its compressed form. Said plate (13), and possibly the device (11) which compresses the mattress, is mobile, and moves downwards as the fibrous mattress roll is formed. In a variation of the invention, the device (11) which compresses the mattress is stationary, and the plate (13) lengthens.
L'invention concerne une enrouleuse pour enrouler sur lui-même, après l'avoir comprimé, un matelas fibreux (1). L'enrouleuse est du type à deux bandes qui enserrent chacune de l'ordre de la moitié de la circonférence du rouleau en formation. L'enrouleuse comprend une plaque (13) destinée à maintenir comprimé le matelas (1). Cette plaque (13) et éventuellement le dispositif (11) qui produit la compression du matelas est mobile et progresse vers l'aval au fur et à mesure de l'enroulement du matelas fibreux. Dans une variante, le dispositif (11) qui produit la compression est fixe et la plaque (13) s'allonge.
