The invention relates to a rolling mill for rolling a metallic strip (1), especially a steel strip, comprising at least one roll stand (2), an upstream cylinder device (3), and a downstream cylinder device (4). An S-roll unit (5, 6) is arranged between the upstream cylinder device (3) and the roll stand (2) and/or between the roll stand (2) and the downstream cylinder device (4), said unit comprising two rolls (7, 8; 9, 10) guiding the strip (1) in the form of an S. According to the invention, a first roll (7, 9) of the S-roll unit (5, 6) is arranged in a fixed manner, and a second roll (8, 10) of the S-roll unit (5, 6) is arranged in such a way that it can be displaced in relation to the first roll (7, 9).

L'invention concerne un laminoir destiné à laminer une bande métallique (1), notamment une bande d'acier, comportant au moins un mécanisme de laminage (2), une bobineuse (3) montée en amont et une bobineuse (4) montée en aval. Une unité de rouleaux en S (5, 6) est disposée entre la bobineuse (3) montée en amont et le mécanisme de laminage (2) et/ou entre le mécanisme de laminage (2) et la bobineuse (4) montée en aval, ladite unité comportant deux rouleaux (7, 8 ; 9, 10) guidant la bande (1) sous forme de S.
