A B S T R A C T A roofing bracket has a flat arm for nailing flatwise to a roof truss, with an approximately coplanar cross-piece rigidly connected to the arm to extend transversely and a lower support perpendicular to the arm member to support a beam. The lower surface of the device is smooth to rest flat on the roof and the upper surface is smooth to lie partially under shingles before removal of the device.
