A roof jack for a furnace includes a first tube through which flue gas discharges from the furnace and a second tube through which combustion air flows into the furnace. The roof jack also includes a first cap assembly disposed proximate an outlet of the first tube and a second cap assembly disposed proximate an inlet of the second tube. The first cap assembly directs flue gas away from the inlet of the second tube to minimize ice formation at the inlet.

L'invention concerne une trémie de cheminée pour four qui comprend un premier tube dans lequel se déchargent les gaz de combustion du four et un deuxième tube par lequel l'air de combustion s'écoule dans le four. La trémie de cheminée comporte également un premier chapeau placé à proximité de la sortie du premier tube et un deuxième chapeau placé à proximité de l'entrée du deuxième tube. Le premier chapeau dévie les gaz de combustion par rapport à l'entrée du deuxième tube de manière à minimiser la formation de glace à l'entrée.
