ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Conventionally, it is usual to try and clean snow and the like from the lower portion of roofs and associated eaves- troughs, with a brush or similar instrument to prevent ice bulid up in the spring. This is difficult particularly if standing on a ladder or the like which is usually necessary in order to reach the roof and eavestrough. The present device includes one or more raking portions anyone of which may be attached to a relatively long telescopic handle, for cleaning snow from the lower portion of the roof. The raking portion may then be removed and a fur- ther portion attached which extends substantially at right angles to the handle and holds a garden hose nozzle. By passing a garden hose through the hollow handle and connecting the hose to a source of water under pressure, the eavestrough can be flushed out with- out the necessity of standing on a ladder. The device can of course be used to clean eavestroughs of snow and ice or of leaves, mud and the like.
