ABSTRACT "ROOF RIDGE CAPPING SYSTEM" A roof ridge capping svstem comprises a pair of elongate U-section members (6,7) nailed to rafters (1) either side of a roof ridge. Ridge tiles (16) rest on flanges (11) of the members and are held in place by straps (17) which form snap fits with portions on the ends of the flanges (11). Seals are provided under strape (17) which therefore not only locate ridge tiles but seal the joins. The U-shaped members have upstanding portions which locate the nibs of the top line of tiles (24).
