ROOF SYSTEM AND VENTILATOR ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A roof system and ventilator comprise a first set of sloping, parallel, spaced apart panels which overlap to intercept substantially all falling precipitation. A second set of parallel and spaced apart panels substantially below, and sloping oppositely to, the first set is arranged to intercept precipitation falling between, or directed from, the first set. Collecting means is arranged below the second set to collect precipitation therefrom. The flow of gas between the panels is allowed by this structure. The panels are supported either by inclined struts spanning between, and connected to, spaced apart trusses or by spaced apart trusses transverse to the panels. method for constructing such a roof system and ventilator.
