A roofing machine is provided with a self propelled chassis and a scoop tool mounted to a front end of the chassis for collecting loose materials from a roof surface. A conveyor is mounted to the chassis in operative connection with the scoop tool to convey material from the scoop tool to a desired location. In a further embodiment, a blade tool is provided for interchanging with the scoop tool. The blade tool has a blade for dislodging material from the roof surface.
