The Rope Stop Handle which provides leverage is to be used for the opening and closing of the discharge spouts on larger bags such as one tonne mini bulk bags. The Rope Stop Handle with its eye bolt is a versatile device because it can be used for other applications, such as tie down and tarp applications. It consists of three components made primarily of half inch PVC fittings and pipe. Depending on economic viability of the device it may be formed by molds. Downward thumb pressure on the piston prevents the compression spring from applying resistance and causes a proportionately larger opening for the ropes to pass through. Upon releasing the piston causes the compression spring to apply resistance making the hole smaller. The threaded mechanism makes the spring resistance adjustable. The resistance can be decreased to make depressing the piston easier for the operator. The resistance can be increased to ensure a more secure hold on the ropes. The threaded mechanism at bottoming out provides direct force from a bolt securely clamping the ropes.
