Abstract The invention relates to a rotary closure for releasable drawing together of two closure elements which can be braced relative to one another, the said closure comprising at least one traction cable as well as a rotatably mounted winding pulley which can be driven manually for winding on and unwinding of the traction cable. In this case a parti- cularly favourable arrangement and guiding of the traction cable is achieved by providing a diametral hub bore for a longitudinal portion of traction cable to pass through loosely in the plane of at least one traction cable receiving groove running around the outer circumference of the winding pulley.
