ROTARY COMPRESSOR Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to a rotary compressor. The compressor comprises an open-ended cylinder having its open ends closed by end plates and an eccentrically rotatable rotor housed inside the cylinder. A hydrodynamic seal is provided on either the rotor or each of the end plates for minimizing any possible unwanted leakage of lubricant oil.
