ABSTRACT A rotary cross cutter for strip material including a pair of co-operating cutter drums, a transfer table and conveyor means downstream of said transfer table, wherein the transfer table is supported on a parallel motion guide to which it is connected by an adjustable spring which resiliently supports the transfer table in the conveyance direction, and stationary abutments are provided which respectively limit the motion of the table in an upstream and downstream direction.
