ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A cutting die assembly is of the type comprising first and second oppositely disposed dies containing cooperating male-female lands which are offset and radially spaced to rupture material disposed therebetween. At least one of the dies comprises a rotary mandrel carrying a plurality of removable, adjacently mounted die elements on which the associated lands are disposed. The die elements each comprise a rigid curved member extending circumferentially around at least a portion of the mandrel and axially along at least a portion of the mandrel. The lands are integrally formed on the peripheral surfaces of the die elements. Adjoining edges of the members are disposed in gapless union.
