A rotary cutting end mill (10) comprising a shank section (12) and a fluted section (14) both extending along the axis of rotation (16); and further comprising a plurality of helical teeth (26) wherein a first helical tooth (26) has a first cutting edge (26) with a first undulating geometry; and a second helical tooth (26) having a second cutting edge with a second undulating geometry, said second geometry being either non-periodic, or periodic but having a different pitch or amplitude, or having a different rake angle pattern.
