A B S T R A C T A rotary copying machine adjustable for a full page printing respectively line printing of sheets from a printing form on a rotatable printing drum has a device for moistening the sheets to be printed, and wherein the stroke of a piston pump for supplying liquid to the moistening device is auto- matically adjusted depending on whether the copying machine is adjusted for printing of a full page or for printing a section, i.e., one or a plurality of lines of a page.
