Abstract of the Disclosure This invention is directed to a rotary electrical device including a substantially cylindrical platen, a rotor mounted to rotate within the platen cylinder and a plurality of styli secured to the rotor. It includes drive means for turning the rotor, record material feed means coupled to the drive means for feeding a strip of the material through the platen in contact with its inside surface with the styli contacting the material at a speed which is directly propor- tional to the speed of the rotor, and means for electrically energizing each of the styli.
