A rotary hoe provided with a hub, shaft, bearings and cultivating teeth is suspended individually onto a bearing construction such that retroversion of the axis of rotation of the hoe-body with respect to the normal to the ground-surface amounts to 0-75° in the plane of the direction of advance, while lateral tilting in a plane perpendicular to the direction of advance lies in the range of between 3 and 75°. The hoe comprises a hub and a plurality of arcuate teeth which extend radially from the hub and are bent backwards in relation to the natural sense of rotation during work performance. The teeth are arranged so that, in course of hauling, they penetrate into the soil and perform a motion crossing the direction of progress. The symmetry axis of the cross-section of the tooth penetrating into the soil is adjusted in relation to the axis of rotation, so that, at the moment of reaching the soil, a vertical motion is performed, whereby the angle (.alpha.) enclosed by the plane of rotation of the hoe-wheel and the soil-surface corresponds to the angle (.gamma.) enclosed by the symmetry axis of the tooth cross-section and the axis of rotation.
