An obstacle to achievement of a rotary internal combustion engine is, since a cylinder has a well hole structure, a difficulty in constructing a starting point for a physical action that enables combustion pressure of fuel to be transferred to a blade of a rotor. According to the rotary internal combustion engine of the present invention, in the cylinder, being timed to rotation of the rotor blade, the shutoff valve is inserted into the cylinder to stop up the cylinder space in a radial direction and then fuel and air are injected for combustion into the sealed layer formed between the shutoff valve and rotor blade and combustion pressure generated therein directly provides rotation to the rotor and working shaft, with the shutoff valve as a starting point for a mechanical action.

Selon l'invention, le facteur empêchant la réalisation d'un moteur rotatif à combustion interne est l'impossibilité de déterminer un point physique d'application pour la transmission de la pression de combustion vers une pale de rotor parce que l'intérieur d'un cylindre est creux. Un moteur rotatif à combustion interne (601) selon la présente invention est caractérisé ce qu'on introduit une soupape d'arrêt (31) dans un cylindre (1) en conformité avec la rotation d'une pale de rotor (20), de telle sorte qu'on ferme un espace de périphérie de cylindre (8) dans la direction radiale, et qu'on injecte du carburant et de l'air sur la couche fermée hermétiquement ainsi formée entre la soupape d'arrêt (31) et la pale de rotor (20) et qu'on les brûle, de telle sorte que la pression de combustion génère directement une rotation d'un rotor (10) et d'un arbre d'actionnement (3) en utilisant la soupape d'arrêt (31) comme point d'application.
