Abstract There is described a rotary printing press which comprises a frame having a first cylinder rotatably supported thereon. A second cylinder is also rotatably supported on the frame. Additionally there is provided a throw off means which is actuatable to throw off the second cylinder from the first cylinder and skew means for effecting skew movement of the second cylinder with respect to the first cylinder. A rotatable form roll is supported by suitable means in the frame and means is provided for adjusting the centre distance between the form roll and the second cylinder to a desired distance. There is a provision of means for maintaining the desired centre distance between the form roll and the second cylinder during skew movement of the second cylinder and during throw off of the second cylinder from the first cylinder.
