Abstract of the Disclosure. A rotary trough type cooling bed run-in apparatus for ejecting and arranging the rolled pieces of a small steel round rolling equipment onto a cooling bed, comprises a plurality of long troughs each having a longitudinal slit and adapted to receive a rolled piece. Each of the long troughs is rotatably mounted in rotary guides and a slit cover is secured to each of the rotary guides so as to cover and uncover the slit in association with the rotation of the long trough. A cooling bed having grooves is positioned below the long troughs such that when the slit of the long trough is released and faces downward, the rolled piece introduced into the trough is dropped into the groove of the cooling bed. Thus there is the effect of making possible the rolling of small steel rounds at high speed, preventing the occurrence of wavy warpage in rolled pieces and ensuring simplified adjustment of the ejection timing of rolled pieces.
