This invention relates to a clothes drying rack which mounts to or is suspended from an overhead structure such as a ceiling and rotates from a vertical storage position to a lower in use position. The drying rack consists of a plurality of drying rods which attach to opposing side members. One of the drying rods runs through the side members and pivotally mounts to support arms. The angle which the drying rack lies when in the lower in use position is determined by stopping pegs attached to the support arms and height adjusting blocks which prevent the drying rack from rotating downwards to a completely vertical position. The upper ends of the support arms attach to mounting brackets which in turn are mounted to or suspended from an overhead structure. When not in use the drying rack is held in a vertical position by removable locking pegs.
