A rotary heat exchanger is used for transferring heat between two fluid flows. The exchanger includes a slide-out frame and lift-out, sectioned venturi collars that provide easy access to the component of the apparatus for servicing. A perimeter seal mounted on the rotor using a spacer and a releasable fastener strip provides long wear and good sealing regardless of rotor run-out. Two wiper seals on the end faces of the rotor prevent cross-contamination between the two air flows that pass through the rotor. A flat drive belt drives the rotor and itself is driven by a crowned roller to maintain center tracking of the belt.
