The present invention provides a toner container system, such as a toner cartridge, comprising a housing including a first reservoir for containing toner and a second reservoir for receiving toner from the first reservoir and transferring the toner to an image forming apparatus, and a toner transfer mechanism that includes a rotatabl.beta. roller member having in the surface thereof a recess defined by a concave surface having a radius of curvature, and wherein the roller member is rotatable from a first position at which the recess is open to the first reservoir and a second position at which the recess is open to the second reservoir, for conveying toner from the first reservoir to the second reservoir upon rotation of the roller member from the first position to the second position, and a rotatable wiper member disposed within the second reservoir.
La présente invention concerne un système de récipient de toner, tel qu'une cartouche de toner, comprenant un logement doté d'un premier réservoir pour contenir du toner et d'un second réservoir pour recevoir du toner provenant du premier réservoir et pour transférer le toner vers un appareil de formage d'image ; et un mécanisme de transfert de toner doté d'un organe rouleau rotatif comportant à sa surface un renfoncement défini par une surface concave présentant un rayon de courbure. L'organe rouleau peut tourner depuis une première position où le renfoncement est ouvert vers le premier réservoir, vers une seconde position où le renfoncement est ouvert vers le second réservoir, pour transporter le toner du premier réservoir vers le second réservoir grâce à la rotation de l'organe rouleau depuis la première position vers la seconde position. Un organe essuyeur rotatif est disposé dans le second réservoir.
