An invention is provided which comprises a welding gun assembly (100) having a handle portion (103) which is rotatable with respect to a fume tube assembly (101) and a hose assembly (105) to which it is coupled. The gun assembly (100) employs a locking collar (111) to secure the fume tube assembly (101) to the handle portion (103) which allows the handle portion (103) to be positioned in any positioned within 360 degrees of a normal position, without the need for reconfiguring any other portion of the gun assembly (100).
