The present invention is a housing for a pressure switch that is coupled to a pipeline. The housing comprises a tubular body with an explosion-proof enclosure attached to the body by having a retainer sleeve inserted through an opening in the enclosure and threaded into the body to secure the enclosure to the body in an axial direction. The body of the housing may be coupled to the pipeline via an interstitial trim device. The body and trim preferably coupled together using left-hand threads. The enclosure is further secured to the body by having a pin extending from the enclosure into a corresponding pin receptacle in the body that prevents the enclosure from rotating with respect to the body. By securing the enclosure to the body in this manner, attempts by field personnel to remove the pressure switch from a pipeline by simply turning the enclosure will prevent the enclosure from rotating with respect to the body and disrupting the calibration of micro-switch components located within the enclosure. In addition, the left-hand threads in the junction between the body and the trim keep the body from being loosened from the trim.
La présente invention consiste en un boîtier de manostat qui est accouplé à un pipeline. Le boîtier comprend un corps tubulaire avec une enceinte antidéflagrante raccordée au corps grâce à un manchon de fixation inséré dans une ouverture de l'enceinte et vissé dans le corps afin de fixer l'enceinte au corps sur une orientation axiale. Le corps du boîtier peut être raccordé au pipeline au moyen d'un dispositif de garniture interstitiel. Le corps et la garniture sont de préférence raccordés ensemble au moyen de filetages à gauche. De plus, l'enceinte est fixée au corps au moyen d'une cheville se prolongeant de l'enceinte dans un réceptacle de cheville correspondant dans le corps afin d'empêcher la rotation de l'enceinte par rapport au corps. En fixant l'enceinte au corps de cette façon, toute tentative de la part du personnel sur place de retirer le manocontact d'un pipeline par simple rotation de l'enceinte empêche cette dernière de pivoter par rapport au corps et de dérégler l'étalonnage des éléments microrupteurs situés dans l'enceinte. De plus, les filetages à gauche dans le point de jonction entre le corps et la garniture empêchent le corps de se desserrer de la garniture.
