506-019 ROTATIONAL COSMETIC COMPACT ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A cosmetic compact is described which houses a cosmetic preparation and applicator means in separate compartments. The cover of the compact is rotatable about the inner container and has an elongated slot which, upon rotation of the cover, is adapted to register with the receptacle containing the cosmetic preparation. Simultaneously, an aperture in the cover registers with a corresponding opening in the compartment in which an applicator is stored and permits the latter to be released by appropriate tilting or like manoeuvering of the compact. After use the applicator is returned to the storage compartment and the cover is rotated to return the compact to the closed position.
