The present invention relates to a rotor structure for an electrical machine comprising an axle (1) and a rotor core packet of stampings (12) consisting of annular plates (6) arranged on the axle. In order to stabilize the internal stresses of the rotor struc- ture and hereby to reduce the vibration problems of the rotor the plates (6) of the rotor core packet of stampings (12) of the rotor structure according to the invention have been given generally the shape of a truncated cone.
