Abstract A round bale handling device for use with conventional farm tractor front end loaders includes a normally vertical, forwardly tiltable frame having a pair of shafts with a plurality of tines thereon mounted for partial rotation about longitudinal axes thereof, permitting grasping of a bale positioned therebetween for handling without substantial compression of the bale surface. Motive structure is pro- vided to rotate the shafts to engage and disengage bales, and quick detach hitch members secure the bale handling device to the loader for manipulation by the tractor operator. -1-
