A farm truck or utility wagon for transporting large round bales from the field to the storage or feeding areas. This truck has a rafter like superstructure running from the front to the rear of the truck and centered on the middle longitudinal axis of the truck. This superstructure provides for the inner support of the first level of bales loaded. The outer support for the first level of bales is provided for by folding gates; which are controlled by a trip mechanism made up of support rails, adjustable strapping, pivoted control trip devices, shafts and pillow block bearing mechanisms. The tripping devices can safely be controlled behind and in front of the load by simply changing the end position of the support rails holding the folding gates. This change in position allows the gates to fall, eliminating the outside support for the bales, which fall using gravity, thereby unloading the entire load at once. The truck is readied for the next load by simply resetting the side rail trip mechanisms and lifting the folding gates back to the upright position.
